Ruth Esmeralda


Ruth Barbacil is an Information Systems Engineer (UTN FRBA) and is a Specialist in the Threat Intelligence & Analytics team at Deloitte Argentina. She has carried out research and analysis of Malware, Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) and advanced persistent threat activity (APT) in order to help defend and mitigate them. @33root

Brian Kime


Brian is a senior analyst at Forrester serving security and risk professionals. He covers cyber threat intelligence, vulnerability risk management, and industrial control system security. In this role, Brian helps organizations identify, assess, and prioritize cyber and physical threats; prepare for emerging attack vectors; and reduce cyber risk in enterprise IT and operational technology (OT) environments.

Ruth Esmeralda Barbacil es Ingeniera en Sistemas de Información en la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional y trabaja en Deloitte Argentina en el área de Threat Intelligence & Analytics. Ha realizado tareas de investigación y análisis de Malware, Tácticas, Técnicas y Procedimientos (TTPs) y actividad de amenazas persistentes avanzadas (APT) con el fin de ayudar a la defensa y mitigación de las mismas.

Lauren Proehl


Lauren is an experienced incident responder and threat hunter who has helped identify and mitigate cyber adversaries in Fortune 500 networks. She has led investigations ranging from data breaches to targeted attacks and continues to focus on defining some part of the limitless unknowns in cyberspace and making cybersecurity less abstract, and more tangible. Lauren sits on the CFP board for BSides Kansas City, heads up SecKC parties, and attends all the cons. She currently holds GCIH and GREM certifications. When she is not behind a screen, you can find Lauren outdoors, trying not to crash her mountain bike.

Kelsey Helms


Kelsey Helms is a cyber threat intelligence analyst and researcher for Target's cyber security team. Her work has concentrated on solution-focused research and behavioral trend analysis to help companies predict, preempt, and prepare for potential attacks. Helms received her BS in Computer Science from Oregon State and is currently earning her MS in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Valentina Palacín


Valentina is one of Deloitte Threat Intelligence Analyst, and she have specialized in tracking APTs worldwide using ATT&CK Framework to analyze their tools, tactics and techniques. IShe is a self-taught developer with a degree in Translation and Interpretation from Universidad de Málaga (UMA), and a Cyber Security Diploma from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN).
